Integrity February Unveiling - FR:16!

In between the last FR16 release and now, I was really looking forward to adding some new big girls to my collection, but as time went on, I realized that I needed to focus my collection, and the big girls were sent to new homes.  However, Integrity has this little fucking thing they do where they just want to drag you back in, like some damn black hole of money spending.  I was VERY tempted by a few of these gals, because, well... look at their outfits!  However, I feel there's something off about all their faces.  They definitely don't look like the other FR16 offerings, and they look very dead-eyed, like Tonner dolls.  Also, where are Saskia and Freja?  We get a new character in Hanne, though.  The whole line is a throwback to famous older Fashion Royalty released from the 12" line, which is a pretty cool homage.

Platinum Society Hanne:

Wow.  Pretty nice debut for Hanne.  The outfit is stunning, modeled after Silver Society Veronique.  Again, she looks a little dead-eyed, though.  She doesn't have the usual life you expect from Integrity releases.  I think it's because all these dolls are missing the reflective highlight in their eyes, and there's a lack of definition in their lower lids.  But this gal is still gorgeous, and I did consider adding her to my Want List.


Amethyst Factor Anais:

zomggggg, look at that dress!  So gorgeous.  She's a re-imagined Purple Factor Adele, but I like her a lot more.  The first Adele face is super-cartoony to me, and it's my least fave out of every IT face mold.  I find that this doll's face has the most life out of the entire line, and again.... soooooo close to ordering this bitch.  Y U do this to me, IT????


Cosmetic Surrender Elsa:

Dear God, we're really now into the Integrity love/hate.  Once this girl was shown, my jaw was on the floor.  I think this is my fave of the bunch.  She's a re-imagined Cosmetic Takeover Natalia Fatale.  I LOVE that she looks Filipino, or something other than Far East Asian.  I'm still realllllyyyyyy fighting not getting this girl, and the other Elsa...

Hot Blooded Elsa:

I'm dead.  Okay IT, I'm officially dead from trying to resist you.  Modeled after Red Blooded Woman Kyori, this Elsa is spectacular.  Again with the dead eyes, though... I think that's really what's keeping me from ordering the four main girls.  They all have sensational fashions and are just so.... unf, except for their eyes.


Obsidian Culture Hanne:

And... fail.  You had me, FR16, and then you lost me.  This Hanne is a CoutureDolls.com exclusive (which is a new side website for Angelic Dreamz, a longtime Integrity and Barbie, and a bunch of other dolls and collectibles, dealer).  She's to help with their grand opening, but I think she should rethink her fashion choice.  Obsidian Society is one of the greatest outfits that Integrity ever made, and this really doesn't do much at all.  Plus, Hanne's not nearly as pretty as she was in Platinum Society.  Big miss for me on this one.


NOTE - I wrote up these blog posts yesterday, and since then I've caved and pre-ordered Cosmetic Surrender Elsa.  I may also try to find the other mainline girls, too.  Why do I have no willpower?????
