Seemed an appropriate song for what's been going on in my life the past few days. But instead of just cowering under a blanket or sleeping like I've been doing, I decided to upload some pictures - and THEN do those things. Or just trance out and play some Final Fantasy X and eat chocolate cookies. One of those things WILL happen.
I really, really don't get why Annik isn't more popular. I think again it's because of inherent racism (though everyone denies it... of course. Only a select few admit to actually being racist), because why wouldn't Pop of Color have sold out long ago? She's fucking GORGEOUS! The angles of her face! That little smirk! The deep dark warmth of her skin! I'm worried about Annik, though. Nu.Face is set to be refreshed later this year, and if they do a 'core' set of characters like they're doing with the Fashion Royalty line, then Annik will probably be dropped in favor of a refreshed Nadja. But we're still not sure what's going on with Nu.Face, and to what extent this 'core character' approach is going to be. I plan to ask this question at the webinar on the 17th. I want to know if the main focus will be those 8 characters, but if they plan to release the other characters once in a while so the whole thing doesn't get stale. I mean, I love Vero and company, but if they're the only 8 dolls we see all the time, it's going to get kind of boring after a while. And I hope that's the case with Annik if they decide not to use her as a 'core' Nu.Face character.
