Last night, we received information about the San Diego Comic Con exclusive Jem. They very quickly pointed out that there will be no extras for IT Direct or the WClub. It's a Jem that a lot of people wanted - Rockin' Romance Jem.
She's..... sheesh, that's a lot of pink. She's definitely my least fave of the Jem dolls released thus far. I've never been a big fan of this look for Jem, and I find her eyes look a little sleepy. Good thing, since now I don't have to worry about trying to get her through Hasbro's pre-ordering, and the hell on earth that is Hasbro's lineup at the actual convention. I've heard so many horror stories. She does come with some cool shoes, and an accessory of Rio's picture in a frame. It actually comes with three different versions, all the classic 80s artwork. That's really cool, even though I still don't understand the Rio appeal. She also comes in a cool retro packaging which is like the unproduced packaging for this doll.
Also, since it's almost July, that means we're halfway through the year for Integrity's releases. And what a year it's been! Since I'm a giant nerd, I like to make lists. Lists of dolls I want, lists of dolls that I have, lists of dolls that have been released, etc etc. I also like making spreadsheets. I'm weird like that. I also like making lists for things because I like to keep up my penmanship. And, looking at the dolls that have been produced thus far have all been fantastic. Even the dolls I don't collect have been quality, so it's really exciting to see what's going to come down the pipeline. It's hard for me to even think of a winner of all the releases so far. I think maybe Full Spectrum Veronique is still my fave.
