Often, my fave Madonna songs aren't her biggest hits. Like this song. I ADORE this song. I also really like the video. Confessions On A Dancefloor is actually my fave album of Madge's. Get Together has double-meaning for today's post. First, the pieces of the patio set 'got together' with my help today. Put the cushions on the chairs, put the glass tabletop on, set up the umbrella, and voila! Now we just need about 500 citronella coils (that probably won't work), and we'll be good to hang outside.
Also, Nina wants to 'get together' with Agnes. In my Detective Agnes Schwarz storyline, Nina is one of the ADAs (Assistant District Attorneys for those who don't watch too many police procedurals), and so she sees Agnes often at court when she and Femi have to testify against a suspect. They bond over their hatred of the defense attorneys, and Nina has the hugest crush on her. Agnes is very unapproachable though, because she's so focused on her job and her sister Giselle's welfare, and Nina's quite shy outside of a court room setting. She also comes from a family where coming out would be 'worse than death', and she's not ready for that yet.
Being a lawyer, she is usually dressed very nicely, though this skirt might be a bit short for the courtroom, Nina. Maybe Agnes noticed your gams, though...
