The Survivor (Kavindra Redressed)

Kavindra is an interesting case.  Her face got damaged when I tried an eyelash experiment that went horribly wrong.  I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with her, or if I even wanted to keep her because she had a gouge missing from her face, and it wasn't really fixable.  But then I pulled her head out of my paint box after a long hiatus, and decided that she would be imperfect, and damn proud of it.  She's the face of violence against women in places like the Middle East, Pakistan, and India.  Damaged by a man because she was seen as chattel, as property, but she's risen stronger. She's the face of female strength.

Imperfect, AND PROUD OF IT!
