I've been doing a lot of changing to my Want List lately, and cutting it down. There are only about 15 (or maybe even less) 12" girls on there now. The number of 16" girls grew a little bit, though. That's I think where I want to focus this year. On Big Poppy, FR:16, and Tulabelle. Though, I have this bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that Tulabelle will become smaller. David Buttry said something about changes coming to Tulabelle, and I really, really, REALLY hope it's not that. I know there are some people who want Tulabelle to be 12", but they've already established her as a big girl, and it would be STUPID from a marketing standpoint to shrink her. Integrity is known for 12" dolls, yes. But, they are trying to diversify their portfolio, and go into the bigger market, which is actually larger in terms of collectible dolls. And they've been slow to start, but that's to be expected against established brands like Tonner or Superdoll. But they've been gaining ground, and I really think they need to stay the course with the big girls, and keep promoting them, because it gives them another avenue in the fashion doll business. I'm sure a lot agree with me, but PLEASE INTEGRITY, NEVER MAKE TULABELLE SMALL.
Anyway.... off my soapbox, and to some pictures of... Tulabelle! I had actually planned images of another doll, but then I just started writing a rant, and now it would seem sorta weird if I didn't post a Tulabelle pic. I've got a new Tulabelle (and Big Poppy) coming to me in the next couple of weeks, so I'm in 16" doll heaven.
