The May Webinar - Poppy Parker! (3 of 5)

I believe I mentioned it before on here, but I decided to get back into Poppy Parker.  I liked the ones I had, and for the life of me, can't really rationalize why I sold them (other than maybe needing money).  So, I knew going into Poppy for the webinar, that I'd be trying to order some, which is stress city because Poppy always sells out in the blink of an eye.  Each Poppy is retailing for $120 USD, and the releases are going to be scattered throughout the summer, which is nice that they're not all coming at once!

Go See! Poppy Parker:

The portfolio pictures are cute.  I really like her face-up, but the suit's kinda weird to me, and I don't like the spit curl.

Spring Song Poppy Parker:

omg, so pretty!  She's just so flowing and ethereal and angelic with those big curls.  Here's hoping I can get confirmed for her! (Which I totally did)

The Camera Loves Her Poppy Parker:

Whoa.  Here's a totally different look for Poppy.  Very Genie-esque.

Hippie Dippy Poppy Parker:

This doll is an IT Direct Exclusive, so she is not available from dealers.  She's a giftset, and will cost $130 USD.  We're supposed to hear about her sometime in July, so stay tuned if you dig this girl!  I love her polka dot shirt.

Peace, Love, And Soul Darla Daley:

Oh my fucking GOD.  Such a babe!  Darla has never looked better, and this is my fave doll of the Poppy line BY FAR.  She's just so damn pretty, and I love afros!  I'm hoping that I can get this girl from my dealer, because I reallyyyyyy want her. (And I did get her!)

Hot Shot Nigel North:

I don't collect male dolls, so I won't be picking up this new dude to the Poppy World.  Nigel's a photographer, and I really want his camera.  His outfit is a little too Austin Powers for my tastes, but in the Webinar, they pretty much said that was deliberate because he's a bit of a dandy.

The Midas Touch Poppy Parker:

The first ever black Poppy, and she is FIERCE!  Sasha Fierce, even (Beyonce nod there).  They did that in the Webinar too.  I actually immediately started singing Goldfinger by Shirley Bassey in my head once I saw this girl.  Golden Goddess indeed.  I think she'll be sold out in a flash, so I hope to get my name down for her. (And I did!)

Wedding Belle Poppy Parker:

Poppy's doing a wedding photo shoot.  She's also got the Hungarian skintone, which is lighter than Latina, so that's why she seems a bit tanned.

Out Of This World Poppy Parker:

Love the sci-fi look, and once I saw the close-up of her face without the glasses, I immediately put her on my list for my dealer.  I really hope I'm confirmed for her.  Eeeeeee. (Eeeee double since she's on my confirmation list!)

So, wow.  A HUGE Poppy line.  I'm hoping there's something that every Poppy fan can enjoy.  Personally, for me, it's DARLA DARLA DARLA.
