New Tulabelle Line!

And by NEW, I mean NEW FACE.  Remember how I was worried because they said last year that there would be 'changes' to Tulabelle?  I was concerned that it would be going down to 12" dolls, but that wasn't it.  It was a face change.  They wanted to mature Tulabelle, and make her older.  Now, a lot of people are saying she looks like Hanne, and I can totally see it.  I also believe she now has the convex eyes like FR16, since none of the dolls have eye shine painted on (that's not confirmed, but I think that's part of really what's making her look like Hanne - the way the eyes are done).  I was a big fan of the first Tulabelle face, so I was pretty surprised at first.  But, I do like this second face, too.  It doesn't much resemble her first face, and the only thing I think I would really change would be to give her back that hint of a smile.  All the dolls will be available approximately Winter 2015, and have 400 units each.  You can contact dealers about these ones, as they are not IT Direct.

Idol Thoughts:

Poppy influence.  She doesn't much look like her grandmother anymore (but maybe she does... we don't know what Poppy looks like older...), but she's still calling out to her famous fashionista grandma.  A lot of the pieces in this collection could be mixed and matched with each other, and I think you're seeing it the most here. I also think that this incarnation is the one that most resembles Hanne.

Fashion Saga:

I love the embroidery on the back of the jacket.  It, along with her look, make me think she seems very Eastern European, or even gypsy like.  A little bit of Dita or Violet in there too.

Sweet Tartan:

I think right now, she's my fave of the bunch.  The other Tulabelles are more glamed up, and she's dressed down, which makes her unique in the collection.  I LOOOOOVVEEE the boots.  And the beetle pin!

Mod*ern Love:

This was the one that I was most 'meh' on since I'm not into the Mod era much.  But I adore that she's got short hair.  And silver hair.  SHORT SILVER HAIR.  Yes, she must be ordered.  I will probably sell the fashion.  Cute purse, though!

Wicked & Divine:

The big finisher.  She looks very glam Miley Cyrus with that hairstyle.  I'm not a fan of Miley, but I do love this hair.  It's almost like Gaga Miley.  She's so glam pop star with this incarnation.  The information warns that her hair is meant to be like this, and taking it down is at your own risk, but I don't think I'd want to take it down.  It's too fun.  Like Wicked Lady from Sailor Moon, but without the long ponytails (or the pink hair).

EDIT - I just had the greatest conspiracy theory thought ever - since everyone's saying she looks like Hanne - Maybe Hanne is her mother, which means Hanne is also Poppy's daughter (and just looks like her dad).  HMMMMMMM.
