This year, they did things a little differently at the last minute. Normally the Poppy Parker luncheon is on Friday (which is today... I went to bed early and slept late). But there was a last minute scheduling change. I guess maybe there is a shipping delay so they moved the FR dinner to today's luncheon. I'm not there, so I can't say for certain. I remember at the Gloss convention (I wasn't there, but I had a proxy) that they showed pictures of a boat since there was a shipping delay. I wonder if they'll do that again?
Anyway, back to Poppy. They showed off that next year's theme will be Swingin' London, so it will definitely be Mod themed. They also showed off the second part of the You Better Werk Tulabelle build-a-doll set. It was a very pop-art inspired fashion:
Next was the Poppy centerpiece, who blew the other Poppy offerings this convention out of the water. Her name is Kicks!:
She is SUPER cute. The more I see her, the more I love her.
The free gift doll was also an adorable Poppy called Big Eyes:
I love this girl. She reminds me of She's Not There Poppy, whom I didn't care for that much because I wasn't a fan of that particular screening. But this girl is scrumptious.
