Poppy Parker - Swinging London Collection

On Friday, the WClub was treated to a first look at the new Poppy Parker collection, where she's swinging in the Mod era of London.  This collection is actually being split into two separate releases.  This is just the first half.  I'm going to be frank - this collection didn't wow me.  I hate saying that because I don't want to take away from anyone else's love of the line.  It's just personally not my thing.  I don't like Mod, so these dolls aren't speaking to me right now.  There are a couple that I think are really pretty, though.

Sign Of The Times Poppy Parker Giftset:

I love that the blonde in this set has brown eyes.  I love blonde hair with brown eyes.  I also like dark hair with blunt bangs, like the brunette in this group.  However, I find the hair looks a little poofy or something.  I'm sure that could be fixed out of box if I want to get either doll nude down the line.

Glad All Over Poppy Parker:

This is another gift set, and look at all the stuff you get!  I actually really like the striped tee dress A LOT.  I'm starting to warm to this girl a little.  I like the bangs.

Sunny Slickers Poppy Parker:

Oh dear, another AA Poppy.  And she's super cute, too.  I bet there's going to be a lot of scrambling to get her, and probably a lot of hurt feelings when she sells out everywhere (I think she's probably already sold out everywhere).  I don't really care for her lip color, and don't like her fashion, but I love the umbrella and her face is really cute.  I really hope that everyone who wants her can find her.  I don't want it to be another Midas Touch Poppy situation for people.

Downtown Poppy Parker:

I love this doll.  She's my fave of the bunch.  I'm not too into the outfit (again, Mod not being my thing), but I love the watch.  LOVE THE WATCH.  I also love her face.  She's so pretty.  I might try to find her nude sometime down the road.  I'm really trying to save my money for convention.

Welcome To Misty Hollows Poppy Parker:

This is definitely the most popular Poppy of the bunch, going by peoples' reactions on the interwebs.  And good thing for everyone, she's available for all WClub members as an unveiling bonus doll.  I really like her, but don't know if I'll order her since A: trying to save money for convention and B: she's fairly similar in coloring to Out Of This World Poppy, whom I have.  I just don't know if I can personally justify having two with so similar of coloring.
