My 2014 Fashion Royalty Wish List

I started a thread on the W Club forums about what kind of stuff we'd maybe like to see in next year's collection.  It probably doesn't do much good since the designs are already all planned out for 2014, but maybe TPTB will take things into consideration?  Or, I can just be really loud and cranky and ask for the same damn things every year until I get them.  I put 4 things on a Wish List last year that we didn't see, so I'm going to add them again:

1.  Eyeglasses - People wear glasses.  Even the fashionable.  Especially the fashionable.  Eyeglasses are THE accessory, since they're right on your damn face, and they make more of a personality statement than any earrings or necklaces.  There are so many different colors and styles and frames are getting bolder.  Hell, every damn hipster wears a pair of fake giant glasses even if they don't need them to correct their vision.  I'd love a few dolls to come with glasses (and if people didn't want their dolls to wear them, it would be the same as sunglasses - just don't put them on), and I'd also love a pack of glasses, like a shoe pack.

2.  Watches for the female dolls - The dudes get watches all the time.  And their watches are awesome.  Double standard!!!  Women can tell time, too!!!!  Give Veronique a Rolex, dammit.

3. Tattoos - I ask for this all the damn time.  The only Fashion Royalty dolls that have ever had tattoos have been Young, Rich And Beautiful Erin, and then specialty ones.  Even supermodels have tats nowadays.  I'd love to see a couple of dolls sporting full sleeves.  Gawwwwwwwdddd, make this happen.

4. A Latina skintoned Rayna in the mainline - Rayna's a very popular sculpt, and she's only been released 3 times - all at specialty events.  Twice at IFDC and once at the Jet Set convention.  Everyone seems to always request her in pale skintones, but I like her tanned.  Gives the lines a bit more ethnic diversity, since she looks like she could be either Hispanic or Mediterranean or something.  I'd actually LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a fusion of my #3 and #4 wants - a tanned Rayna in rockabilly style with a pomp, big red hibiscus in her hair, and both arms done in sleeves of tats.

And for some new stuff that I probably won't see this year, but I'm going to start asking for until we do see them:

5. Tailored Menswear - Think Katherine Hepburn or Diane Keaton.  I'd love men's style suits, even a suit and tie.  To me, it's so damn sexy when a woman shows she can wear a man's clothes better than even he can.

6. Stylish Winter Wear - I'm from Canada.  We have to wear winter shit like coats and hats and mittens and scarves.  Lots of countries need to think of winter fashion.  Even in Paris.  I'd love to see a Russian sable hat.  Hell, whenever FR has gloves, they're mittens anyway.  Make mittens!!!

7. A short haired Agnes - or really, short haired dolls in general.  I love short hair dolls, but they're really rare.  I'd especially like to see Agnes with a pixie cut, though.  Very Emma Watson.  It's funny - I love short hair or long and wild hair on my dolls.  I'd also like to see more Mistress cut style bobs.  Those fall into the short-haired category, too.

8. An homage to The Muse Adele - The Muse Adele is in my Top 10 list.  She's maybe the best Adele ever produced.  I'd adore to see a doll like this with the new Adele face, since I prefer it to the older versions of Adele.  With the shorn, natural black woman hair, and the dark skin.  Really, I'd like to see more black dolls with 'black woman' hair.  Most of them have 'white woman' hair, or hair you know would be a weave.  A dark, dark ebony bald Adele would also be awesome.

9. Sneakers - I love casual dressing for my dolls.  But there are never any damn sneakers for the FR girls.  I use Barbie sneakers, and buy them when I have the idea to, but I'd love the higher end FR shoe as a sneaker, with real laces.  Like a bunch of different colors of Chucks.  That would be so damn awesome.

So, here's hoping, Integrity.  I'd be happy even if I just saw one or two of those things.
