Orlando Bound? The IT Convention

We got word yesterday that the Fashion Royalty convention would be in Orlando again.  That's good news for me flight-cost wise, but Florida is not one of those places that I MUST visit.  I don't have children, and really don't care much for children, or places where there are LOTS AND LOTS of overexcited children yelling and screaming all over the place, so even though I do love animated Disney films (jury's usually out on the live action), I have zero desire to go there.  One of my local dear dolly friends is afraid to fly, so she'd consider driving.  Maybe that would be cool.  You could bust ass one way to get there fast (or get home fast), and then take your time the other way and see some sights on the way home.

We don't have any details yet, such as theme or the hotel.  It's going to be a different hotel though.  Hopefully one that's cheaper?  These luxury resort hotels are nice, but I'd rather have a just as nice hotel without all the extra crazy spa and a hundred restaurants adding on costs.  I also would INSIST on seeing alligators if I do go.  And I've been saying that I'm going to go for the past two years.  Though, I'm telling myself that I WILL buy a convention registration this year, but if I can't go, I'll get a proxy.


Also, we got a sneak peek of the final W Club doll of 2013.  It's going to be another Fashion Royalty, but the sneak is soooo small and gives NOTHING away, that I wonder why they included it at all.

Like... what is that??  It looks like it could be a gold fabric with white, like a suit or something and maybe a brooch or the bottom part of a dangly earring, but seriously... I have no clue.
