Welcome, Kylie!

I didn't name her after Kylie Minogue, just so you know.  Kylie just seems like an extremely Australian name, and I wanted Kylie to be Australian.  I felt it deep in my heart for some reason.  Maybe because I just recently watched 'You're Next' again, and the awesome heroine is an Aussie.

I'm totally a recent convert to Cruise Control Vanessa.  At first, I didn't really care for her, but lately I've been really wanting tanned, or Latina, skinned dolls.  She's dressed with some candy, spring-like colors - even though we just had a gross blast of winter yesterday.

    I resisted her for so long….I just didn't see the allure. But tastes change and grow, and I finally ended up with her. In person, I found her to be SO much more incredible (though your pictures do bring out her better features quite well). Her eye makeup is wonderful. I really love how you redress -- you have such wonderful imagination, and make such unexpected choices that work SO WELL.

      Thanks! I like to try out unexpected combinations. When I redress, there are clothes all over my bed because I'll take out a few pieces and put them together to see how they look.
