With a big sigh of relief, I saw the email that said the first club doll was being released, and it was Victoire. I am relieved because I don't collect her, and there are so many other doll places that my money is going that I didn't need a club doll on top of that right now, either. The FR:16 are due in May, and A Touch Of Frost Eugenia and Fashion Explorer Vanessa could show up at any time. Not to mention the layaways that I have, and the upcoming webinar (I was hoping the email would be a save the date one so I can make plans)
Victoire has a background of being in the Revolution after WWII, and she helped save famous paintings from the destruction of war, I guess like a fashion doll version of that move 'The Monuments Men' that I didn't see (and I think that few other people saw). The color of the dress is very pretty, and I hope all Victoire fans are very happy.
