Okay, that's not a song. Maybe it should be, though! Because only heartless jerks don't like pandas. Padma's an animal conservationist. True they don't have pandas in India, but animal love has no borders! I've been meaning to take pictures with the dolls and animals more often. This stuffed panda came from Telus, a Canadian cell phone company. They're not my personal company, but they had these on sale for $10, and the money apparently went to help Canadian wildlife. I asked them how much money went towards the actual animals, and they said all of it. I'm not sure if that's the real answer, though. I know what it's like with some charities, where the people who need the money don't actually get the lion's share, but rather the CEO does.
And as you all remember, Padma is my full repaint. I still see issues with her, but I do love her. I've been looking for a Photo Realism Veronique for my second repaint, but I want to find her complete at a good price. I'll just have to be patient and keep checking eBay or The Doll Pages (or maybe one of my stalwart readers has one available that they're willing to part with....???)
