Yes, Natalia will correct you if you call her a robot - she is an Android. Robots are mere computers - she is self-aware. However, she is programmed with less freedom than the Layla model. Dr. Salem Albrecht realized that she needed more control over her Synthetic creations if they were to be effective soldiers to sell to armies, terrorist groups, or really the highest bidder. The Natalia model and the Layla model could be considered sisters, but Natalia is programmed to kill Layla on sight as a failure and traitor to their Mother. All of Dr. Albrecht's Androids can mostly pass as human, unless you look at them up close and see the circuitry in their irises like marbling, and pay attention to some of their actions, which can't quite match humans.
