...And fingernail biting. I still haven't gotten confirmation from my dealer on the wish list I sent, so I'm worried about not getting a few of the dolls that seem to be smashing hits. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess. ADDENDUM - I got confirmed for Player Slayer! My fave of the bunch. But I imagine if my dealer has any Tulabelles left after the dust settles, some of them may sneak onto my Pre-Orders list.
First up is our fave 16" fashion blogger, Tulabelle! I sold my Tulabelles from last year, thinking that I didn't need to keep up with 16" dolls. But I was wrong and stupid. I liked the bigger size quite a bit. I don't know what I was thinking. I don't think I'll try to get back the ones I sold (unless it's just their outfits), but rather focus on the new releases. And we got four awesome ones.
French Kissed:
I really dig this girl. Love the little fingerless gloves. Love her jewelry and love her platinum hair. She looks a lot like Yeti To Wear, but the albino version. She wasn't on my initial wishlist, but the longer it took me to find out what I'm confirmed for, the more I started looking at the doll pictures, and the more they grow on me. I liked this girl the instant I saw her, but haven't pre-ordered her. Yet.
A Touch Of Grace:
ADORBZZZ. Look at those pretty brown eyes with that shocking red hair! She reminds me of a dear friend of mine, Sara. She needs some pale freckles, though. I initially had this girl on my wishlist, but waffled. Which means that I'll probably try to order her, too. WHERE IS ALL THIS MONEY GOING TO COME FROM?? I love the necklace!
Player Slayer:
LOVE. THIS. GIRL. She looks so snotty and fierce. Her description says she suffers no fools - a girl after my own heart. I like her sunkissed look with the darker skin and darker blonde hair. Her purse and shoes are fucking great, and I LOVE her tee. She's on my pre-order list.
Front Row:
This gal is my least fave of the group, but that doesn't mean that she's not fabulous. I'm just not that into her hairstyle, but as time goes by, I picture her with it taken down, and I think she'd be even better. Her outfit is slammin'. Love the purple lining to the gold coat, and LOVE the green eyes.
A great sophomore release for the Tulabelle line. Every doll is great, and I hope that everyone else agrees with me. I don't like to see the bigger dolls floundering on dealer shelves, because that puts the line in danger of being retired, and I don't want to see that. Integrity's 16" dolls are the best deal in that size's market. Tonner are so much stiffer and don't come with nearly as many accessories, and then there's a huge price jump to the other dolls like Sybarites, and the new Kingdom Dolls (so gorgeous!)
