OMG Best Webinar EVAR - Poppy Parker!

Yep, gotta put the Crazy Happy Android face on EVERY post for this Webinar, because it really was the best EVAR.  I knew that I'd be paying closer attention to Poppy Parker than I ever did before, because I've given up my embargo on her.  I'm not going to go out and get every single past Poppy ever, though.  I'm past that phase of doll collecting.  I'm only going to get the ones that fit in with my girls.  I thought that nothing could really top how pretty all the World's Fair Poppies were last year, but this The Girl From I.N.T.E.G.R.I.T.Y. line is really giving that past line a run for its money.  And SO MANY DOLLS!  Wow.  This year is Poppy's 5th anniversary, so I think Integrity is going to pull out all the stops with her this year.

Agent Lotta Danger:

WOW.  Like, fucking WOW.  Sex Kitty Spy Poppy!  Love the cut-outs on the catsuit.  Love the face, love the gun!  My collection is in need of more guns.  She is totally what I expected when I first heard about the spy theme for Poppy.  I got confirmed for her, so I can't wait to see her in person!

Spy-A-Go-Go Poppy:

The Girl With The Golden Gun!  This Poppy is very cute, but she doesn't stop my heart like Agent Lotta Danger did.  I might try to find the gold gun down the road, though.  And the gold boots.  And the ring because I love rings!  The gold and aqua look great together!

Agent Kimiku Gunn:

New character alert!  This is Tina Tanaka, a new Asian friend for Poppy.  I don't know if it's just for this line, or if Tina will continue to appear afterwards.  She plays Poppy's partner in spying, Kimiko Gunn.  She also uses the Ayumi 1.0 facial sculpt, back when Ayumi was in Nu.Face instead of FR Squared.  At first I thought she was cute and I liked that they were spreading out Poppy's universe with new characters, but as I've been waiting for my confirmation, I've begun to like this girl more and more.  I might try to pre-order her, or wait for a split or something. (or eBay since the whole line seems to have sold out in a blink.  REALLY?  Poppy selling out quicker than you can scratch your ass?  THAT'S NEVER HAPPENED!)

Agent Penelope Chase:

Another new character!  I totally get it, since they actually need people to star in this TV show.  Poppy can't play all the roles, no matter how hard she tries.  This is Jolie James, who uses the Colette/Nadja sculpt (which might be a clue that when Nu.Face comes out sometime in the near or far future, we'll see new faces for those characters).  Penelope Chase is very... pink.  No sneaking around in this outfit, especially because her jacket looks like a pink version of those hypothermia blankets they give people they've pulled out of the water.  I do like her dress underneath, though.  And she's got a damn pink gun.  You have to have huge balls to carry a pink gun.  I think that her face is really cute, and I love her makeup, but I kinda wonder "Why couldn't this have been Darla...?"

Sebina Havoc: Mistress Of Disguise:

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.  When I saw this girl, I gasped.  She is SO FUCKING FANTASTIC I CAN'T EVEN STAND IT.  I put her on my wish list immediately.  I'm a huge fan of Loni, so to see her again in such a fucking awesome rendition makes my heart sing.  But then there was another surprise with her!

Since the character that Loni plays is the villain, and she's also known as the Mistress of Disguise, she can disguise herself as EVIL POPPY.  How awesome is that?  I put her on my want list before even seeing that she came with another head, so that's just bonus.  It's great that it's a silver-haired doll, too.  I love silver hair. But I still like Loni better.  She is the part that is the WINNER OF THE ENTIRE WEBINAR for me.  I imagine this girl will probably show up on my Top Ten of 2014 list.  I love that the Poppy head has the same beauty mark as Sebina - she can't hide everything!

Sebastien Havoc: Brother In Arms:

Sebina's brother, and Loni's brother in real life.  NEW CHARACTER AGAIN!  Lex Lawrence uses the Francisco sculpt, which again makes me wonder if when the Hommes get their refresh, that Francisco will have a new face.  This dude totally looks like a b-version of Mr. Smith from The Matrix.  I don't collect dude dolls, but I love his sunglasses and gun.  He's got a pretty cool look about him, kind of like a younger Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil video game series.

Mayhem In Monte Carlo Poppy:

We've got the 'Casino Royale' version of Poppy here.  Spying usually involves going to some posh casino or hotel all dolled up with some fake date who's actually another spy.  I love the beading and embroidery on the dress, but it's SO not my style.  The doll's face is gorgeous, though!  A lot of people are saying she looks like Corrie Bratter from the Barefoot In The Park lines from last year, but I think this one is way prettier.  LOVE the ring, and the gun.  Need more guns.

Code Name: Arm Candy:

Can I just say that this is the best name for a doll EVER?  Because that's totally what the male dolls are.  Also LOOOOOOVVVEEE the briefcase.  Look at all the detail!  It needs some jewels in it, though.  And a bunch of fake passports.  Chip's got quite the jacket on.  It will blind the rival spies with its optical illusions!  And of course he's got a wicked watch.  FUCK.  How many times do I have to ask for watches for the women?????

WHEW.  Man, that was a lot of typing.  This line for Poppy is huge.  Huge and awesome!  I'm so glad that I got confirmed for Lotta Danger and Sebina Havoc.  Kinda kicking my own ass for not asking for Kimiko Gunn, too.  Since this is Poppy's anniversary, we know that we'll probably see more cool things from our '60s lass in the near future.  Maybe she'll be the next club doll.  Anyway, Monday should be interesting.  I always kind of like seeing the aftermath of the buying frenzy that is the webinar - it's like passing a car accident on the highway.
