GLOSS CONVENTION - Thursday Night

We got our official emails today about the dolls that were unveiled on Thursday night.  Nothing about the Convention Collection yet, or Poppy's luncheon.  We also got official promo images of the Registration Erin that we got in our registration packs.  She doesn't seem to have an official name, so I've just been calling her Gloss ITBE:

We got the accessory pack at the Thursday night dinner, and it boosts her right up.  I thought she was cute beforehand, but now she's rockin' it, 70's style.  Love the hat.  Love the coat.  Hell, love EVERYTHING.

The Centerpiece Doll - Sheer Sensuality Vanessa:

Yes, she's a 1.0, not the newest Vanessa mold.  I actually won this girl, so I'm REALLY excited to get her home.  I'll be selling the dress, but the doll herself is so lovely, and has brown eyes!!

Dinner Giveaway Doll - Le Smoking Adele:

FIERCE.  Wow!  I may not have to look for The Muse anymore!!  Unfortunately, I have no idea when I'm supposed to get her.

There has been a serious issue of dolls still being held up in customs.  IT hasn't yet said if they are officially not going to show up at convention, but it looks that way.  I doubt that by this time at a Friday night, that anything in customs is moving.  At all.  So Le Smoking, along with Grandoise Natalia and Nightshade Kyori from the Convention line, Wild Thing Poppy from the ITBE Direct stuff, and the giveaway Poppy Parker (who we'll get to in a later blog post) are all still on the boat.  There's also a good chance that the Nu.Face giveaway dolls, and the convention doll are also affected.  Also, I don't believe the Color Infusion Hommes are there, either.  Either way, it's a LOT of dolls that are affected.

IT has promised that if they have to ship out these dolls after convention ends, that they'll cover the shipping and customs charges, which is good.  It's still bad that because I pre-paid for the whole collection, I'm not allowed to pick up ANY of them, at least not at the time of this posting.  People who didn't pre-order anything got to pick up Veronique, Vanessa, Simonetta, and Dark Moon Poppy, but I still can't do that.  I really hope that tomorrow at the luncheon, we'll have some clarification, or an announcement that the dolls passed through customs late tonight, and are there.  Miracles have happened before.

So yeah, I'm thinking of dropping The Muse off my Want List because Le Smoking is pretty close to her (just without the flocked hair).  That's also a good thing because I'm always trying to whittle down my Want List.  But it doesn't ever seem to want to die.
