GLOSS CONVENTION - Final Thoughts

We still haven't gotten any official emails aside from the one I already posted, and I didn't get any other pictures, so I can only really talk about what I saw without visual aids.  I'll be taking home 11 dolls, so that's quite the haul.  The finale Agnes is sooooo gorgeous, as is the centerpiece Elise from the final dinner.  It actually helped shorten my wish list a tad.  Intimate Reveal Agnes is actually close enough to High Gloss and Silver Zinger that I can remove them from the want list (which is good because they're hard to get and expensive as fuck), and the blonde Elise meant that I didn't need to get Flawless Elise anymore.

But, even with all the dolls I'm taking home, there are two dolls that I wasn't able to get that I want - Chrome Noir Erin, and Evening Siren Ayumi.  Evening Siren Ayumi apparently has a new face, and she was available for purchase at the final dinner, but I ran out of money.  And Chrome Noir Erin was a freebie doll for the WClub luncheon that I couldn't attend because I wasn't there personally.

In this age of technology, maybe we can start thinking of a digital presence as attendance.  If someone is there via Skype or Facetime, their presence should maybe count.  And if they know someone there to physically pick up the dolls, they could.  Or the dolls could be mailed to them.  I think it's something to think about as we move forward technologically.

Anyway, I'll definitely post more once we start getting official emails.  I also didn't win any of the OOAK dolls, which made me sad, but really.... I'll have enough dolls to keep me interested for a while.  My proxy is deboxing everything so it will fit in suitcases, but I may put them in bags when I get them home, and only concentrate on a couple at a time, so they all have time to be appreciated.

I'll also maybe post a countdown next week until I get my dolls, giving me a chance to appreciate my older dolls before the Gloss Girls take center stage.
