I'm totally late putting this up, but as soon as I came home from work, I went back to sleep. I'm definitely not a morning person, haha. I didn't order the first WClub doll (British Invasion Poppy) because of money constraints (and because I really only wanted the Union Jack dress), but I'm definitely going to order this girl. She's not due out until early next year, so I don't have to worry about paying for her right now, save the deposit. I'm kinda surprised that they're making another Erin this year, as they already had her in the mainline Heirloom collection for Nu.Face, but she is simply stunning. One of the best WClub dolls in a long time, and maybe even ever. Would I have preferred someone like Colette, Annik, Dominique, or Karolin, all of whom haven't been used much in the Nu.Face line? Yeah. Will that stop me from wanting/getting this doll? Hell no.
This doll has kinda a Kendall Jenner vibe going, but I won't hold that against her. The white top is riffing on a look that she wore to some event, but the drape of the doll's seems a lot better and lighter. Which is kinda funny because drape and fabric weight are the two biggest issues when you're creating doll clothes. On such a small scale, as opposed to humans, getting something to flow and drape in an airy way can be really, really tough. But Integrity usually does that stuff with seemingly no trouble (though I know it takes a lot of work on their part to make it great). Congrats to Jessy Ayala on another knockout doll. He's been killing it the past couple of years.
This giftset will sell for 175 USD, and is an exclusive to 2017 WClub members. If you're not a member and want her, there are always people selling WClub dolls, so you should be able to get your hands on her, though for what price, I can't say. If it were two years ago, it would be a LOT more, but the secondary market has gotten a lot softer. It's really a buyer's market right now.
